PSYWAR

We are doing a 10-part series throughout December discussing the use of PSYOP (Psychological Warfare) by the U.S. military and its potential impact both globally and within the United States. As each episode airs, the show notes will auto-magically populate below. This could be the most important and informative discussion you can watch this year. I say this because I helped support the 4th POG for nearly 3-years, from 2007=2010, on several different deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as CENTCOM, Tampa.

Our discussion isn’t about whether-or-not PSYOP is being used by our military, but rather if it should be used at all? What are the 2nd and 3rd order of effects and how do they impact American? Do we lose the moral and ethical “high ground” with our allies and enemies by using it? What is happening with the soldiers and contractors we are training in misinformation and disinformation? What do these soldiers do for work when they leave and what do they do with their knowledge?

Bottom line of what we’re looking for here is does psychological warfare do more harm than good to American and our constitution, which we’ve sworn an oath to protect from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
